Re-Wild products
Our products are made with love, good vibes and good intentions. We do our best to source organic, local and ethically harvested ingredients. All the ingredients have powerful healing, rejuvenating, invigorating and unique properties and have been carefully selected to form a synergistic blend for each product. Each product is handmade and prepared in small batches which means that they could vary ever so slightly from time to time.
Our Story
I began experimenting and making my own skin care products in 1998. A cornerstone of our family’s lives has been healthy, clean living which resulted in the re-Wild range of products. These are the products we all use as a family and love them! Through trial and error over the years, these products have evolved and are beautifully balanced, gentle and nourishing… and waiting for you to try! Each product grew out of a need to provide a product for my family that was not toxic and gentle on the skin as well as the environment. I also started becoming more aware of the need to source products that were more ethically sourced and made. The desire was always to ensure nourishment, healing and protection for my young children in the form of the sunblock and Baby Bum Cream, for example. As they have grown we have experimented with other products to suit them, such as the Creamed Deodorant. Ultimately the aim was to have all our personal needs met in the form of re-Wild products which are the only products you will find in our home….. and in our extended family’s and friends homes too! For me, this a great testimony of how good the products are, that people are still only using these products years later and love them! We hope you will too.
Location
Our farm is located just inland on the Natal North Coast. The farm has swathes of indigenous bush, buzzes with bees from our numerous hives, has thriving wildlife and organic crops. The rich soil and clean air is a testimony to living in harmony with nature. We try our best to live in harmony not only with nature but also with the people around us. We have syntropic fields and abundant, organic veggie gardens. The Tea tree Essential, Rose Geranium and Rosemary Essential oils I use in some of our products are grown and stilled on the farm.
Recycle
Use the empty product tins for storage options like salt and pepper for picnics, buttons, earrings, whatever you can! Re-use, upcycle and be creative! Use them with good intentions and enjoy!
