One of out most popular products is our Body Love. It is made with Olive Oil, Passionseed Oil, and Mango Butter, and of course, beautiful, healing Frankincense essential oil.
I developed this Body balm originally for my breast-care routine. I had done some reading and learning about the power of Frankincense used by people for a range of ailments and even cancers. I felt it would be a good way to do my monthly breast checks by using this balm as the healing properties would then benefit my breasts too! This also lead to the name: Body Love. Many of my friends began to use the balm and loved it. One friend used it for her sunburn out of desperation when she was on holiday and had a little too much sun and she reported that it had soothed her burn incredibly. We have since been using Body Love as an after-sun balm and it works wonderfully! I often use it as my face Moisturiser and my sister-in-law and daughter love to use it on their feet when they give themselves a foot rub and gaining the benefit of the healing properties to be absorbed into the body through the feet.
We encourage you to always do your own reading and research on the incredible natural ingredients creation and nature provides for us. The information may blow your socks off!
Use Bod Love anywhere your body needs some lovin’!

Origin of Frankincense oil:
Frankincense is a hardened gum-like material, also know as resin, that comes from the trunk of the Boswellia tree. People use its oil on the skin and in aromatherapy. Frankincense oil seems to kill some types of bacteria and fungi (yeasts). The country of origin and quality of the frankincense tears used in Frankincense Essential Oil distillation play a big part in the overall aroma and characteristics of the essential oil. Our relationship as humans and this healing resin and oil goes back to ancient times. This resin that has been used and valued since time immemorial as the resin produced and offered to us by the tree offers numerous medicinal, cosmetic, aromatic and spiritual benefits and uses.
The main active ingredients of frankincense are alpha- and beta-boswellic acid and some other pentacyclic triterpenic acids. Studies have shown that these compounds reduce inflammation, so there may well be some benefits for certain people with inflammatory conditions. Frankincense was a perfume and spiritual incense, burned in temples throughout the East. Myrrh was a sacred anointing oil. Frankincense and Myrrh are both mentioned in the biblical book of Exodus as sacred articles in the early Jewish and Christian faiths.
Frankincense, along with myrrh, has also been long used and prescribed in traditional Chinese medicine and administered for treatment of blood stagnation and inflammation diseases in addition to pain relief and swelling. A study done by nine doctors in China revealed frankincense and myrrh may help in the treatment of cancer. Researchers believe that frankincense can prevent the release of “leukotrienes”, which are compounds that can cause inflammation. Second, Frankincense contains “sesquiterpenes”, chemical constituents that help increase the amount of oxygen in the limbic system of the brain.
If you are curious about what Frankincense smells like, most people describe its smell as earthy, woody, resinous, piney, or balsamic, and at the same time soft, sweet, and citrusy. Overall, it’s a complex and wonderfully balanced aroma that helps calm the mind and soul. Our Body Love has a very delicate scent so for those of you who do not like an over powering balm, this would be perfect for you. The essential oil tends to smell sweeter, cleaner and fresher than the resin, and more people prefer the aroma of the essential oil to that of the resin when it is burned as incense. I love the smell of the resin when I burn it as incense. Emotionally, I find the aroma of Frankincense Essential Oil to be spiritually grounding, calming and relaxing without being sedating.
